I saw this on BBC News Click and was really impressed. It's an effect called "time-lapse tilt shift photography" where everything is made to look smaller than it actually is.

As an update Mar 2011, I just watched Gulliver's Travels (2010) and it looks like the same effect for the intro credits :c)

Script Function:
Designed to suit as many joomla sites as possible. NO programming required and hardly any CSS. I've made this to install automatically, get all its content and images automatically and then it uses local data from there on. Free Thumbnail Services, effects and colors are now handled by the Module parameters.

This extension will display a top 10 chart of your weblinks in a module on your Joomla website. As long as the weblink is published and approved, it will display. The default is to list 5 but you can set as many as you like. It is intended to work out-of-the-box with minimal setup (like the rest of my extensions - lazy Joe).

If you don't have pictures of the websites you link to, this module can generate these (by retrieving from a specified service - and then stores these to not keep downloading them) or I have a downloadable standalone program (search my site for "JWT") that will also do the job.

I've simplified the process so this version allows any "Administrator" or "Super User" (or Specified Joomla! Group(s)) to generate the thumbnails on-the-fly with just a click of a button. Did I mention this is all OpenSource and FREE?

This extension is a joomla module displaying the words from your Joomla! core articles and displays them in a "cloud" of words displayed in a module. Font-size depends on the frequency of the word throughout your articles.

What makes this word cloud module different is that it takes its words directly from your Joomla! core articles instead of your meta tags which means less work to setup. It has been tested with various languages across the world and 3rd-party templates.

I wanted a module that doesn't need meta tags to be setup for it. I want a module which quickly installs and can work as is. I've even added some CSS styling options because I'm that lazy.

Introduction

Well I thought I'd write about it as it is my very first ever Joomla module.  Not just the fact that it's my very first but also because of the surprising popularity.  It has been featured as a "New & Noteworthy" extension on the front page of the Joomla.org Extensions website for about a week now.  There have been several positive reviews but more astonishingly over 1,000 downloads in 10 days!  May not be much to some people but for my first Joomla extension, I've been quite impressed.
