Sir James Dyson explains his bladeless fan

 I love technologies that replace conventional methods and thought processes.  In this video, Sir J. Dyson demonstrates a new type of fan which uses a fraction of the energy of normal fans.  In the UK, we may not need air conditioning as much as other countries but this is definitely a step in the right direction.
