DJI Phantom FC40 Paint-Job and AerialFreaks Cyclops FC40 Gimbal Upgrade

I decided to repair the hull integrity of my DJI Phantom FC40 after a crash and sorta had the day off so... There are so many pictures because I wanted to be sure I could put it back together again, I'd recommend anyone who doesn't have a photographic memory to do the same.

My beloved DJI Phantom and the Hubsan X4 H107C

DJI Phantom FC40 - First Flight

So I just started another YouTube channel which I'll try to transfer my Joomla videos over to but in the meantime you can be subjected to my quadcopter videos. Here are a few quick ones, the Hubsan H107C and its Q4 Nano, then the DJI Phantom.

First up, the Hubsan X4 H107C for $60 USD filming at a reduced 720x480 25fps then further compressed by YouTube Capture app (but includes stabilization): {youtube}jFJJY5uUT0E{/youtube}

Leap Motion is a USB gesture control device you can connect to a computer which behaves much like a mouse or trackpad but in 3 dimensions. Available July 2013 for public release (you can pre-order if you like @ https://www.leapmotion.com/). It's noted for it's accuracy and response to finger gestures and it's compatibility with major platforms.

The following videos were shown to me by a colleague at work. I was so impressed I just had to post them. So here's a screenshot, read more if you want the videos:

Leap Motion and Augmented Reality (AR) Drone
A lively futuristic bar scene featuring a robot bartender serving three distinct customers

A guy goes to a bar and is served by a robot bartender. The robot says, "What'll you have?" and the guy says, "A martini." He then gets the best martini he's ever tasted. The robot says, "What's your IQ?" The guy says, "167." The robot proceeds to chat with him about subatomic physics, black holes, and game theory.

Curious, the guy comes back a second night. "What'll you have?" says the robot and the guy again receives the best martini of his life. "What's your IQ?" "100." The robot proceeds to chat about NASCAR, Budweiser, and John Deere tractors.

The guy comes back a third night and this time when asked says, "About 50." The robot leans in real close and says, "Isn't it terrible the way Biden stole the election?"
